Mentoring
Creative Mentoring
Sometimes all you need is someone who has been there.
Building a creative business can feel overwhelming. There are so many decisions to make, from branding and products to websites, marketing and knowing what to do next.
I've spent over 30 years working in art, multimedia, community projects, tourism and creative business. I've built brands from scratch, designed products, run events, created websites, written books, managed community initiatives and learned through experience—making plenty of mistakes along the way.
If you're looking for practical guidance, honest feedback and fresh ideas, I'd love to help.
Who is mentoring for?
Creative mentoring is ideal if you are:
- Starting a creative business
- An artist looking to earn more from your work
- Building a personal or business brand
- Feeling stuck and unsure what your next step should be
- Launching products
- Planning a website or online shop
- Preparing for markets or trade fairs
- Growing your confidence
- Looking for an honest second opinion
What can we work on?
Every session is different, but we might look at:
- Your overall business idea
- Branding and identity
- Products and pricing
- Websites and online shops
- Marketing and social media
- Content ideas
- Finding your niche
- Prioritising your time
- Funding ideas
- Creative direction
- Long-term planning
Sometimes one conversation is all it takes to unlock your next step.
What makes my mentoring different?
I won't give you a textbook.
I won't promise overnight success.
What I will do is listen carefully, understand where you're trying to go, and help you see opportunities you may not have considered.
Everything I share comes from real experience—building businesses, creating brands, solving problems and learning through doing.
My aim is simple:
To help you move forward with more confidence and clarity.
Free Resources
I believe good advice should be accessible.
That's why I'm creating a growing library of free worksheets, guides and planning tools to help creative people organise their ideas and take practical steps towards their goals.
Whether you book a mentoring session or not, I hope these resources help you on your journey.
